MEET THE FOUNDER...

Hello, my name is Stephen Rogers. My primary purpose in this life is to know myself in the deepest possible way, live from there fully, and teach the most effective tools for human transformation.

I’m not a theorist or a content repeater—I’m a Shen-led teacher–healer–scholar and outlier (or what systems of control would call an outlaw) with an ongoing, full-blown kundalini awakening that’s been unfolding since 1995.

My work carries a real shaktipat-style transmission: awakened consciousness moving through one nervous system to light up another. I’ve spent decades in the trenches with the hard cases—deep trauma, addiction, burnout, and so-called “incurable” conditions—working on body, energy, psyche, and Shen at the same time. I’m not here to hand you a more “spiritual” persona; I’m here to help you experience a direct, embodied awakening into a Shen-led, superhuman life.

My vision is a world where people embody spiritual enlightenment, live in optimal health, wellness, and longevity, and perform at superhuman levels. Everything I do—teaching, healing, writing, or speaking—is devoted to building that world. I welcome your participation and contribution.

Let’s reach for it!

A MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER...

Hello. I'm Stephen Rogers. Since 1995, I've pursued one singular mission: to break through conventional human limitations and extract the frameworks that allow others to do the same. My path as teacher, healer, scholar, and outlier (or what systems of control would call an outlaw) has been driven by direct experimentation rather than learned information.

My vision for the world involves: humans embodying their full biological potential—accessing states of consciousness most consider mystical, achieving physical performance that defies medical boundaries, and experiencing health and longevity that rewrites aging protocols.

Everything I create—from teaching models to healing approaches—serves as grand strides for the systematic activation of dormant human capacity or Transformashen.

This journey calls to those ready to discard comfortable limitations and recover who and what they've always been. This is the revolution I propose.

Reach for it.

THE PACK LEADERS

Meet the visionaries behind Shen Life: Stephen and Erica—pioneers in the integration of spiritual awakening and practical transformation.

Stephen and Erica represent the convergence of rigorous academic training and profound personal awakening—a rare combination that forms the foundation of Shen Life's transformational approach.

Stephen's journey began in 1994 during an unexpected catalyst: while incarcerated for a drug offense, he experienced a spontaneous activation, which continues to this day, of what Eastern traditions call a full blown Kundalini awakening. This profound event initiated a deep study of human potential.

Shortly after his release from prison, Stephen apprenticed under a Japanese Shinto Priest in 1995. This is his first contact with the concepts of Shen, Qi and Jing. His mentor famously told Stephen, "I can teach you God's way, but you must go to school to learn the government's way." So, he went on a scholarly voyage.

His academic credentials include a Bachelor's in Health Studies and a Master's in Oriental Medicine, with doctoral work in Energy Psychology (Psycho-Bioenergetic Studies), Transpersonal Studies and Oriental Medicine. Beyond formal education, Stephen holds professional certifications as a Transformational Coach, Reiki Master, and an Ordained Minister, complemented by specialized training in structural integration bodywork, personal training, integrative movement, and public speaking. His interdisciplinary mastery extends across Noetic Sciences, Yoga, Occult traditions, Biblical Studies, Semiotics, Mythology, Peak Performance, Libertarian philosophy, natural law, and free market economics—creating an integrated framework for understanding human potential. Currently, Stephen focuses on teaching, coaching and writing the Shen Life Models, while finishing his doctorates in Oriental Medicine and Energy Psychology.

Erica's path intersected with Stephen's through what appeared as chance, but proved to be alignment. Following his mentorship, she systematically built her expertise through certifications and trainings in massage therapy, structural integration, personal training, integrative movement, holistic healing, and public speaking. Concurrently, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with a Health Science focus at the University of Central Florida, later followed by a second Bachelor's in Holistic Health Sciences. Her background in design and digital marketing built upon her foundation in dance and performing arts, creating a unique synthesis of embodied wisdom and practical application. Along her journey, Erica became certified as a Transformational Coach and Holistic Health Practitioner, and was ordained as a Minister for the Shen Life Trust. Currently, while managing Shen Life's daily operations and communications, she pursues a dual Masters and Doctorate in Natural Health.

The earliest iterations of the Shen Life framework started with Stephen's private clients back in 1996. The model was tested and refined through intensive work with over 2,000 students at their Los Angeles center in the early 2000s, after which they transitioned to a remote client model with occasional in-person healing and live events in 2007, continuously evolving their approach with each client's transformation. Together with their family of wolf dogs, they walk the path to embody Shen Life. Join them in exploring human potential.

THE PACK MEMBERS

The Shen Life community is lovingly referred to as a Pack after the Shen Life wolf dogs.

Over the years, ‘The Pack’ has included elite athletes, scholars, executives, physicians, therapists, award-winning creatives (Grammy, Emmy and Oscar winners), entrepreneurs, scientists, fitness gurus, and many others.

Are you ready to join the Shen Life Pack?

THE PUPS

The Shen Life community is called The Pack, named for Bella, China, Atlas, Lupa, Vishen, Raven, and Sisu.

A lot of people stop because of the pups—so here’s our backstory.

It started at Dog Beach in Santa Barbara. We didn’t even have dogs. A guy showed up with two wolfdog mixes, and that was the first hook.

Later, in Montana—our first winter—we saw a café sign: Wolfdog puppies for sale. We went “just to look.” We were done. They became winter therapy (we don’t ski), and a form of birth control—Erica’s maternal drive found an outlet.

Wolfdogs don’t let you fake it. They pull you into presence and remind you there’s a wild intelligence inside you—instinct, order, perception—that gets boxed up in domestication or civilization.

THE SHEN LIFE PERSPECTIVE

To encourage you to continue along the Shen Life path, here are some writings to rattle your noggin and inspire you onward.

Beyond The Peak

Beyond The Peak

August 25, 20268 min read

Most people who've had a spiritual experience think they've arrived.

They haven't. They've visited.

The experience was real — maybe the most real thing they've ever felt. But then the nervous system settled, the ordinary world resumed, and what remained was a powerful memory inside a fundamentally unchanged life.

That gap — between the experience and the transformation — is where most seekers get stuck. They spend years chasing the next visit instead of understanding that visits and relocations are two entirely different events.

In Shen Life, we map three distinct tiers of extraordinary human experience. Knowing which one you've had — and which one is actually available — changes everything about how you approach the work.

Tier One: The Peak Experience

Peak experiences are the most common — and the most misunderstood.

They arrive through intensity: sports, dance, extreme physical challenge, group feats, ceremony, and sometimes psychedelics.

For a moment, the world cracks open. You glimpse that life is bigger than the three-dimensional script you were born into. Time stretches or collapses. The body lights up. The mind goes quiet. Something vast and undeniable makes contact.

Then it's over.

Hours at best. Sometimes minutes. The nervous system settles. The ordinary world returns. And what you're left with is a cherished memory — vivid, beautiful, and completely unable to change your baseline.

The person who had the peak experience usually remains fundamentally the same. Same patterns. Same reactivity. Same survival machinery running underneath the new story about what they "experienced."

And here's the danger most people don't see: peak experiences can inflate the ego as easily as they can humble it. When a temporary opening gets mistaken for a permanent arrival, what follows is spiritual grandiosity — the delusion that you've "made it" because you once felt something extraordinary.

You didn't make it. You touched it. There's a canyon between the two.

Tier Two: The Shift Experience

Shift experiences go further.

They tend to arrive through sustained depth — extended meditation, near-death events, devotional immersion, or sometimes a crisis that strips away everything non-essential and forces the organism into a new mode of being.

Unlike a peak, a shift involves a genuine transition — a fundamental move from one mode of operating to another. You don't just glimpse the bigger reality. You step into it. And you stay there — for days, weeks, sometimes months.

During this window, the bioenergetic system undergoes a real upgrade. Sensitivity increases. Perception sharpens. Capacity expands. The body feels different — more alive, more coherent, more connected to something underneath the surface noise. You're seeing from a higher vantage point, and the old problems look different from up here.

But here's the catch: most people plateau.

When the extraordinary phase fades — and it usually does — they find themselves at a new level, but stuck there. The shift moved the baseline, but the momentum stopped. They have more perspective, more stability, a better ability to navigate life's swings. But they rarely progress further.

A shift is real growth. It's not nothing. But it's not the full transformation either. It's a new floor — and most people mistake a new floor for a ceiling.

Tier Three: The TransformaShen

This is where the game changes entirely.

A TransformaShen experience is not a visit. Not a temporary shift. It's the ignition of a permanent, irreversible process — a fire that, once lit, cannot be stopped or reversed. Only slowed or dampened in intensity.

In Shen Life terms, TransformaShen is a full-blown kundalini awakening — not as a concept borrowed from yoga, but as a lived bio-energetic event with specific mechanics and measurable spillover into every system of the body.

Here's how it works.

The Mechanics

What the yogic traditions call kundalini, the Daoists call the rising of Jing/Qi through the central channel. In Shen Life, we work with both maps — the territory is the same.

The ascending current: Core Power — raw vital energy stored at the base of the system — rises through the central channel (the Chong Mai in Daoist anatomy, the sushumna in yogic). This isn't a metaphor. It's a felt, physical, bio-energetic event — heat, pressure, electricity, involuntary movement, altered perception.

The descending current: Shen — pure awareness, spirit, the intelligence behind life — descends from above, meeting the ascending current in the cranial region. The pineal is the primary site, but not the exclusive one.

The birth of the Medicine: When the ascending and descending currents meet, a third substance is produced. Across traditions, it's been called soma, amrita, the golden elixir, nectar, manna, the anointing oil, the blood of Christ, liquid light.

In Shen Life, we call it SoluShen.

SoluShen doesn't stay in the head. It descends — through the throat, saturating the heart and nervous system, anchoring at Mingmen (the Gate of Life in the low back), and pooling in the Lower Dantian as a deep reservoir.

Over time, this flow organizes into what we call the Infinity Circuit — a self-feeding figure-eight (∞) between the skull and the Mingmen/Lower Dantian, crossing at the heart. Not a one-way rise and fall. A sustained, self-renewing loop.

This is where the classical maps often stop. Most traditions describe vitality as finite — burn through it, you age and die. In the Shen Life model, the conversation changes at this point: the circuit begins refining and replenishing rather than just depleting. The pilot light at the Gate of Life is no longer living off a shrinking supply. It's being fed by the Medicine.

What Spills Over

When a TransformaShen ignition is real — not imagined, not performed, not confused with a peak or shift — the effects don't stay in the "spiritual" category.

They spill over into the body. Into perception. Into behavior. Into the fabric of daily life.

The nervous system reorganizes. Reflexive, reactive survival patterning begins to switch off — not through effort, but through a felt downshifting at the core. The system goes "off-duty" without collapsing into sleep or dissociation.

Perception shifts. What was once an occasional altered state becomes the baseline — awareness stabilizing in the core, with the Field as the remaining reference point. Bliss stops being an episodic peak and becomes a continuous, pervading tone anchored deep in the body.

And the behavioral changes become visible: competition drops away and becomes recognizable as background survival programming. Friction between you and what unfolds decreases — not through forced surrender, but through ground-state coherence.

These aren't promises. They're markers — early external signals tracked longitudinally over years through what we call the Three Proofs Standard: body evidence, behavioral evidence, and life evidence over time. Not single data points. Not phenomenology alone. Proof that lives in the body and shows up in the life.

What This Is Not

Let's be clear about what a TransformaShen is not.

It's not a weekend workshop. It's not a single ceremony. It's not something you purchase, download, or achieve by completing a program.

It's not something that can be guaranteed by any teacher, any system, or any practice — including Shen Life.

And it's not an escape from being human. The fire doesn't burn away your humanity. It burns away what's false — the survival patterns, the personas, the conditioning — and leaves what's real. You become more human, not less. More embodied, not more ethereal. More present, not more checked out.

The classical literature — from yogic to Daoist to Vajrayana traditions — describes the process consistently: a purification that can resemble crisis, as the central nervous system "throws off stress" wherever blockages are encountered.

Disorientation is calibration, not dysfunction. The system isn't breaking down. It's reorganizing.

Western clinical researchers — Lee Sannella in the 1970s, psychiatrist Bruce Greyson at the University of Virginia, and others — documented these patterns independently, describing them as a "biopsychospiritual transformation" involving measurable shifts in physiology, emotion, and perception. The evidence base is still thin and mostly self-report-driven. But the pattern is consistent across traditions and clinical observation: something real is happening in the body — not just the imagination.

Where Are You?

Most people reading this have had a peak experience. Some have had a shift. Very few have crossed into TransformaShen territory — and some who believe they have are actually living in a peak memory or a shift plateau, calling it something it isn't.

That's not a judgment. It's a diagnostic.

Knowing where you actually are — honestly, without inflation — is the starting point for everything that follows. Because the work required to move from peak to shift is different from the work required to move from shift to TransformaShen. And the work required to sustain and deepen a TransformaShen once it's ignited is different still.

The fire doesn't care about your spiritual résumé. It cares about your readiness — in the body, in the nervous system, in the willingness to let the old structure burn.

The Invitation

If you've been chasing peak experiences and wondering why your life hasn't changed — this is why. Peaks don't transform. They visit.

If you've had a genuine shift and feel stuck at the new level — this is why. Shifts move the baseline but don't sustain the momentum. Without the fire, the system settles.

And if something in you recognizes the word TransformaShen not as a concept but as a description of what's already happening inside you — then you know this isn't theory. It's orientation.

The fire is real. The Medicine is real. The Circuit is real.

The question is whether you're ready to stop visiting and start living there.

Reach for it.
