Atlas

He emerged from the Montana wilderness—literally from a hole in the ground—carrying with him a wild wisdom untouched by human convention.

We named him Atlas after the protagonist in "Atlas Shrugged," and he lived up to that powerful namesake daily. Like the hero who refused to carry the weight of a corrupt world, our Atlas maintained an uncompromising integrity. He tolerated no deception, submitted to no unearned authority, and navigated life with fierce intelligence.

Bilingual and keenly observant, he served as the pack's moral compass and equalizing force. While most dogs offer unconditional love, Atlas taught us something more profound—that true trust is not freely given but earnestly earned, a privilege rather than a right.

The wilderness that shaped him never fully left his eyes, even as he shared thirteen remarkable years with us. His legacy lives on in how we approach relationships, leadership, and authenticity.
