After a serendipitous meeting, Erica followed Stephen's guidance and completed certifications in massage therapy (specializing in structural integration), personal training, integrative movement, holistic healing and public speaking, all the while completing her Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies focus in Health Science at the University Of Central Florida. Later, she finished another Bachelor's degree in Holistic Health Sciences, and dove into design and digital marketing. All of this naturally built upon her foundation in dance and the performing arts.

Coupled, they put their skills and model to the test in their Los Angeles center with over 2,000 students until 2006. Then, they transitioned to work remotely, and further refined the Shen Life Model with more success stories.

Along the way, Erica got certified as a Transformational Coach, Holistic Health Practitioner and became an Ordained Minister for the Shen Life Trust. Now, Erica writes and manages the daily operations of Shen Life while working toward a dual Masters and Doctorate degree in Natural Health.
